ECRG provides study oversight and management, experienced research personnel and all related materials. We organize and recruit prospective participants, schedule their initial and follow-up visits and perform all related nursing activities. This coordinated package ensures profitable and successful studies with minimal involvement by the physician and affiliated staff.

This most frequently utilized option presents a minimally intrusive change to the work load of involved practices while producing significant economic benefit.

The participating practice receives all study related doctor’s fees. Historically, doctors are reimbursed $1500 per completed patient with a revenue of $1000 - $5000 per month per study.

Consultative Service:

ECRG will consult with any practice interested in performing medical research. We will help improve the understanding of what it takes to be successful performing primary care research. Success depends on obtaining appropriate studies and creating a pool of interested patients. We also help with understanding source documents and other related documentation.

Obviously, this selection leaves the responsibility on the shoulders of the practicing physician and that is not reasonable for most practices. The only benefit of this choice is the ownership of all related study funds. This allows the practice to shift nursing fees, doctor’s fees and overhead fees to fit their needs.
